This program provides mental health services to those students needing assistance. In addition to the many services offered by the program, they have also created a factsheet describing DSPS services for students with mental health disabilities.
CAPED is your statewide association for those professionals serving in the area of postsecondary disability. Their convention is held every year in October, and is not to be missed. Each spring they host a one-day Drive-In Conference. They also sponsor the CAPED Mentorship Program, which began in 2016, and supports new DSPS coordinators/directors by pairing them with an experienced coordinator/director within a structured one year professional development program.
