The Learning Disabilities Eligibility and Services Model (LDESM) Manual is used as the standard for assessing learning disabilities in the California Community Colleges System. Training is typically provided through the Chancellor’s Office twice a year. This is the Spring 2020 version of the manual.
All applicants to the LD Eligibility Model training who are currently serving as interns in a California Community College must provide supporting documentation for each of the areas listed in this document. The PDF version of this document is linked to the title of this entry. A Word Version of the document is also available. (Updated 2019)
Best Practices for LD Internships, which was updated in 2020, is another resource addressing the internship.
